Orientation, dokusan and teisho are offered during weekly sits, zazenkai, and 5 day sesshin. The weekly sit is held on Tuesday evening, 5:30 – 7:30, in the church hall of St Pius X Catholic Church, 2305 Bloor St., near Runnymede Rd. How to Find Us

Monthly Sitting Schedule at Zendo West
First Tuesday of each month
5:30 - 6:00 - everyone sits
6:00 - 6:30 - Nenates gives a fresh new Teisho (or Stan Reads)
6:30 - 7:30 - Nenates (and/or Stan) gives Dokusan
Second Tuesday of each month
5:30 - 7:30 - Silent Day - everyone sits - no Teisho and no Dokusan
Third Tuesday of each month
5:30 - 6:00 - everyone sits
6:00 - 6:30 - Stan reads
6:30 - 7:30 - Nenates (and/or Stan) gives Dokusan
Fourth Tuesday of each month
5:30 - 6:00 - everyone sits

Whether you are scheduled to be jikijitsu or for zendo preparation, if you can’t make your week, it is important that you try to arrange for someone to cover for you.
Everyone else is asked to come as early as possible to help with the set-up and to stay afterwards to help put everything back in good order.
