If your name is in the zendo preparation and flowers column, it means it is your task to

• come no later than 5:00 p.m
• bring flowers for the altar and for each dokusan room
• pick up the keys (usually #1 and #7) from Holy Rosary, and return them later
• lead the room preparation so that everything is ready by 5:25
• ensure the room and the dokusan rooms are put back as we found them

Whether you are scheduled to be jikijitsu or for zendo preparation, if you can’t make your week, it is your responsibility to arrange for someone to cover for you.

Everyone else’s responsibility is to come as early as possible to help with the set-up. If you are not on this list, it means that you can’t come early, which means that your responsibility is to stay afterwards to help put everything back in good order.
